Tubs & Tiles Commercial team were delighted to be involved with this striking commercial project at the contemporary Winthrop Engineering corporate offices in Dublin. 

Completed alongside Millimetre Design, an Interior Design & Branding Studio, the client requested tiles for their reception area along with sanitary ware and tiles for the bathrooms. Their interior design specification included marble look tiles and white sanitary ware that would pair well with the wooden cubicle doors and indoor outdoor atmosphere that flows throughout the building. Also important to the client was choosing tiles with the correct slip resistance and technical characteristic to meet all standards while also being easy to clean and hard wearing. 

Our lead on this project was our National Sales Manager for Tubs & Tiles Commercial, Jason O'Connor. 

Reception area

This is a bright and airy space and we proposed one of our favourites - Cosmopolitan Calacatta Gold Rectified Porcelain Floor & Wall Tile by Mirage in large format 120x120cm size. The Cosmopolitan collection by Mirage provides a faithful reproduction of the finest marbles, mimicking the wealth of detail and the random veining pattern that can be found in the natural stone. This range offers seven different marble effects, two finishes, and a range of slab and large format sizes. 

Bathrooms

Carrying the marble look into the bathroom floors, we specified another tile from the Cosmopolitan range - Statuario Extra in size 80x160cm.This tone works wonderfully with the warmth of the wood and the feature greenery surrounding the mirrors.

The wall hung toilet pans and soft close seats are from our Duravit Durastyle range which are an ever popular minimalist and contemporary style which carry the quality reassurance of the Duravit brand. These are paired with WC frames and flush plates are from Geberit. 

The urinals in the men's bathroom are from Me by Starck, another Duravit range which has a high quality commercial specification. We also supplied a trough sink for the ladies bathroom. Finally, the black basin taps are from our Hansgrohe Talis range.  

We would like to thank Millimetre Design and Winthrop for choosing Tubs & Tiles for this stunning project. The product and design choices flow seemlessely together, really giving the building a tranquil feeling upon entry.
